Who runs this site

Buy a Jet Seat is a brand of Charter Jet One, an air charter broker. We arrange flights; we do not own or operate aircraft, and every flight is operated by an FAA Part 135 (or foreign equivalent) direct air carrier.

Figures on the site

Hourly rates, flight times, ranges and seat counts on these pages are planning estimates. Nothing on a page is an offer, and any figure may change at any time.

Quotes

A quote reflects your request and what operators tell us on the day, and it binds neither side. You have a booking only once you sign a charter agreement (or, for a seat, accept the carrier’s terms), and the operating carrier’s name and details are disclosed to you before you book.

Seats and aircraft can be taken

Everything we quote depends on availability and on the operator confirming it. If someone else books a seat or an aircraft before you do, we will look for the closest alternatives.

Taxes and fees

For flights within the US, our quotes include the 7.5% federal excise tax and the per-passenger segment fees unless the quote says otherwise. Costs nobody can predict, such as de-icing, extra waiting or changes you ask for, are billed as your agreement sets out. Trips abroad can carry other taxes and fees, listed on the quote.

Paying and cancelling

When you pay, what a change costs and what you get back if you cancel are set by your charter agreement or the carrier’s terms, which take priority over anything on this site.

The pilot decides

The pilot in command may delay, divert or cancel a flight for safety, weather, air traffic control or regulatory reasons.

What we ask of you

Give us accurate names and trip details, bring valid ID and travel documents, and follow crew instructions and the operator’s rules on baggage and conduct.

Liability

We take care to keep this site accurate, but we offer it as is. As far as the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses that come from using it. Liability that the law does not let us limit stays unlimited. For anything to do with a flight itself, your charter agreement governs.

The words, design and images here are ours or licensed to us. Please ask before reusing them commercially.

Law

If a dispute ever arises, these terms are read under the laws of the State of New York and of the United States.

Changes

We may revise these terms, and the date at the top will tell you when.
