Buy a Jet Seat

How Buy a Jet Seat works

We are an air charter broker. We find seats on scheduled private flights when they exist, price the whole aircraft from certificated operators, and look after your trip from the first request to landing.

What we do

Both ways to fly private, in one request.

Private flying is sold two ways: by the seat, on flights set up to sell seats, and by the aircraft. Most brokers quote only the second. We quote both, because for one or two travelers on a busy route a seat can cost a fraction of a charter, while for a group the whole jet can be the better deal.

We do not own or operate aircraft. That lets us compare operators and aircraft for you and recommend what fits the trip, not a fleet we need to fill.

From request to landing

Five steps, one advisor.

One person handles your trip throughout, so you never have to explain it twice.

  1. Your request

Route, dates, headcount, luggage and pets, and whether you would consider a seat. No account, membership or deposit.

  2. We source options

We check scheduled seats and public charters for your date and ask FAA Part 135 operators, or foreign equivalents abroad, to price the whole aircraft. We review each operator’s certificate and audit ratings.

  3. You compare

Your advisor sends the options by email with the aircraft type, the operator, the timings and an all-in price, and is happy to talk them through by phone.

  4. You book

You choose, sign the charter agreement (or accept the carrier’s terms for a seat) and pay as the agreement sets out. The booking is firm once the operator confirms the aircraft and crew.

  5. You fly

You receive the final itinerary with the terminal details. Your advisor stays your point of contact through the trip, including any changes.

Standards

Who we book you with.

Certificated operators only

We work only with operators holding an FAA Part 135 certificate, or the foreign equivalent, and the insurance that certificate requires.

Audit ratings, shared with you

Where an operator holds ARGUS, Wyvern or IS-BAO ratings, we tell you which. These audits review safety programs, crew records and maintenance.

Realistic schedules

Crew duty and rest limits are federal rules. We plan departure times and changes around them rather than against them.

The operator, named upfront

Your agreement names the operating carrier before you pay. The operator holds operational control of every flight.

What to expect

Plain prices and straight answers.

Prices you can compare

Every quote is all-in: flight time, positioning, the 7.5% federal excise tax on domestic flights, segment fees, landing and handling fees and crew costs. Optional extras are itemized so you can add or drop them.

Honest availability

If no seat exists on your date, we say so. If an aircraft in a quote is booked by someone else before you confirm, we tell you and offer the closest alternatives.

Your information, used for your trip

We use your details to quote and arrange the flight and, only if you opt in, to send offers. Read the privacy policy.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell memberships or jet cards, ask for a deposit to quote, or post live prices on this site. Figures here are estimates; your quote is the price.

Ready when you are. Send your route and date. You will get seat options where they exist and whole-aircraft quotes, all-in.
